Annapurna Base Camp is situated at the elevation of 4130m above the sea level. Hiking to the 4130m is known as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Annapurna Base Camp trek is the most visited place in the Annapurna Conservation area of Nepal. The spectacular vistas of world 10th highest mountain peak Mt. Annapurna 1st 8091m. And other associated mountain peaks. Glories view of the Mt. Machhapuchhere (Fishtail) during the walk to the ABC is the best attraction. Terraced farmland in the lower part of trekking trail gives you the feeling of civilization on the Himalayan part. The treeless part in the upper part of the trekking trails gives you the real sense of Mountain region. Typical local villages and the local culture and costume of Magar and Gurung community is another attraction of this trek.
The journey to the Annapurna Base Camp starts with a drive or flight to Pokhara and then one and a half hour drive to Nayapul. From Nayapul first part need to walk on the road. At the Birethanti TIMS and Annapurna conservation area permit checkpoint where have to register permit and TIMS card. Annapurna Base Camp Trek can do in different several places such as Phedi and Nayapul. If you start from Nayapul, from Birethanti there is two way one via Ghorepani Poon Hill and one directly via Ghandruk.
Mount Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a moderated trekking in Nepal. During this trek, the highest point is 4130m. If you are able to walk everyday 5 to 6 hours with good health condition this trek is doable. Previous hiking and trekking experience will be good. And if you do daily physical exercise 3 to 6 month before the trip will be enough to get your dream come true.
First Day: Kathmandu to Pokhara. Drive for 6 to 7 hours.
Second Day: Pokhara to Nayapul or Kimche drive and hike to Ghandruk.
Third Day: Ghandruk to Chhomrong.
Fourth Day: Chhomrong to Himalaya.
Fifth Day: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp.
Sixth Day: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo.
Seventh Day: Bamboo to Ghinu Danda.
Eighth Day: Ghinu Danda to Siwi or Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
First day: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive.
Second day: Pokhara to Nayapul or Tikhedunga Drive and trek to Ulleri.
Third day: Ulleri to Ghorepani.
Fourth day: Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise view and then trek to Tadapani.
Fifth day: Tadapani to Chhomrong.
Sixth day: Chhomrong to Himalaya.
Seventh-day: Himalaya to ABC.
Eighth day: ABC to Bamboo.
Ninth day: Bamboo to Ghinudanda.
Tenth day: Ghinudanda to Siwi or Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
