Similarly, the Babai River is one of the famous rivers for fishing in Nepal. The river is located within the area of Bardiya National Park, Bardiya. Additionally, the river flows 40km south before it enters the land of India.

Also, there are different species of fishes in this river so it can be fun as well. Surprisingly, 118 species of freshwater fishes reside in the Himalayas ‘ freshwater. Furthermore, fishing can be the best sport for you to check and build your patience.

Trip Itinerary of Babai River Fishing Tour

1^st Day: Morning flight to Nepalganj, after arrived at Nepalganj continues to drive to Bardia National Park by private jeep. Welcome to Bardia Jungle Resort Lunch in resort rest for while afternoon ethnic Tharu village visit and temple area.

2^nd Day: After Breakfast starts walking safari with nature guide till Noon time after picnic lunch half day jeep safari evening back to resort and dinner night in resort.

3^rd Day: After breakfast drive to Babai River for a day fishing trip with a picnic lunch on the river bank.

4^th Day: Full-day fishing guide will take you to different spots this is our last overnight in the riverbank so we will provide you some special tonight by our professional staff. Overnight stay in a tent.

5^th Day: Morning fishing for some time and after lunch drive back to Bardia jungle resort. In the evening, Tharu cultural dance in the resort.

6^th Day: Around noon time drive to Nepalgunj airport to fly back Kathmandu / transfer to the hotel.

 

Best Season for Babai River Fishing

The best season for fishing in the Babai River can be from February to April and October to November. These seasons are best and convenient for fishing. Also, the weather is favorable and enjoyable.
